How can we help?
Getting started
When are your offices open?
Our physical offices are open during the January–April 2027 season. Hours are set by each office and are shown on its location page. Remote service is also available.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring a government-issued photo ID, your tax documents for the year (such as W-2s and 1099s), and last year’s return if you have it. Your tax professional will tell you if anything else is needed.
Can I file without coming into an office?
Yes. You can work with us remotely by video or phone. Where mobile service is enabled, a trained representative can come to you.
Security and privacy
How do you protect my information?
Your account uses two-step verification, your information travels over encrypted connections, and only people who need it to prepare your return can access it. We never ask for tax documents or Social Security numbers by ordinary email or text message.
Will you ever email me my tax documents?
No. We never send tax documents, Social Security numbers, or bank details by ordinary email or text. Messages from us only tell you that something is waiting for you after you sign in.
Refunds
How long will my refund take?
Refund timing is decided by the IRS and your state tax agency, not by us, and it is not guaranteed. After your return is accepted, you can check its status with the IRS “Where’s My Refund?” tool.
Pricing
How much does tax preparation cost?
The fee depends on the services your return needs. Your tax professional will explain the fee before you authorize any work.
